1. About these terms
"I" and "me" means Harnoor Singh, an individual (sole proprietor) trading as Upward Web by Harnoor Singh, based in Ludhiana, Punjab, India. "You" means the person or business hiring me or using this website. By asking me to start work, paying an advance or creating a client account, you agree to these terms. If we agree something different in writing (for example in a quote on WhatsApp or email), that written agreement wins where it differs.
2. Packages and what's included
My website packages (Basic, Standard and Premium) and monthly plans (Basic Maintenance, SEO Growth and Complete Care) are described on the packages page, including what each one includes and its price. The quote I send you confirms exactly what I'll build for you. Anything outside that quote is extra work, and I'll tell you the price before I start it.
Domain names and hosting are not included in the website packages. They are paid separately, to the provider, in your name.
3. Payment
- Advance: [CONFIRM: 50%] of the package price before I start work. The rest is due [CONFIRM: e.g. before the website goes live].
- Monthly plans are paid [CONFIRM: in advance, at the start of each month]. You can cancel any time with 30 days' notice.
- Payment methods: [CONFIRM: e.g. UPI or bank transfer]. Prices are in Indian rupees. [CONFIRM: whether prices include GST].
- If a payment is more than [CONFIRM: e.g. 15 days] late, I may pause work or take the website offline until it's paid.
Refunds are covered in the Refund Policy.
4. Timelines
Once I have your content (text, photos, logo, timings, prices and so on), a Basic website usually takes 5–7 days and a Standard website 2–3 weeks. Premium timelines are agreed in the quote. These are estimates, not guarantees: delays in getting content or feedback from you move the timeline too. If you don't respond for [CONFIRM: e.g. 30 days], I may treat the project as paused.
5. Revisions
Each package includes [ADD NUMBER OF REVISION ROUNDS, e.g. 2] rounds of changes to the design before launch. A "round" is one list of changes sent together. Changes after that, or changes that alter the agreed scope (new pages, new features), are charged separately at [CONFIRM: your rate or 'a price agreed first'].
6. Your responsibilities
- Send content that is accurate and that you have the right to use: your own photos and text, or ones you have permission for.
- Make sure your website's claims are lawful. Doctors and clinics are responsible for following the National Medical Commission's rules on publicising their practice.
- Keep your own login details (domain, hosting, Google Business Profile, client account) safe.
- Don't use the website or my work for anything illegal, misleading or harmful.
7. Who owns the website
- Domain and hosting are registered in your name, with your contact details. You own them.
- Your website: once you've paid in full, you own the finished website: its design, text and the files I made for you. Until then, I keep the right to it.
- Your content (logo, photos, text you gave me) stays yours. You give me permission to use it only to build and maintain your website.
- Third-party parts such as fonts, icons, stock photos and code libraries stay under their own licences. I only use ones that allow commercial use.
- My general know-how, tools and reusable code that aren't specific to your business stay mine, and I may use them for other clients.
8. My portfolio
I may show your website, screenshots of it and a short description of the work in my portfolio, on this site and on social media, after it's live. If you'd rather I didn't, tell me in writing before or after launch and I'll remove it. I never publish private information, unpublished content or anything from your client account.
9. Monthly plans and SEO
Monthly plans continue month to month until you cancel with 30 days' notice. SEO work improves your chances in Google Search and Maps, but nobody controls Google. I can't guarantee any ranking, traffic or number of customers, and I'll never claim to.
10. Client account
Your client account at /account is for viewing your project. Keep your password private. I may suspend an account that's misused. You can ask me to delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
11. Liability
I build and look after websites with care, but I'm not responsible for losses caused by things outside my control, such as hosting or domain provider outages, changes made by someone else, Google's decisions, or content you supplied. As far as the law allows, my total liability for any claim about a project is limited to [CONFIRM: e.g. the amount you paid me for that project]. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under Indian law.
12. Ending our work together
Either of us can end a project by telling the other in writing. You pay for work done up to that point (see the Refund Policy), and I hand over whatever is finished and paid for.
13. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If we have a disagreement, let's first try to sort it out by talking. If we can't, the courts at Ludhiana, Punjab have exclusive jurisdiction.
14. Changes and contact
I may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Changes don't affect a project that's already agreed unless we both accept them. Questions: harnoor459456@gmail.com or WhatsApp +91 79733 53244.
